Hi guys,
I hope you are all well.
Im new to the forum and to the wonderful Kemper world so a thought I'd stop by to say hello.
I have been playing guitars for many years, various kinds of experiences and I have started a new journey in pursuing a new portable sound/tone for me.
I have a very modest setup in my office to start with my new Kemper Powerhead, that includes a Bugera 212TS Speaker Cab, Profiler remote, Mission EP1-KP pedal + Saffire Pro 26 / Reaper / Logic Pro X.
As you can imagine I've got lots to read and I am through most of the basics I guess, so I need to dig deeper as I try to craft my sound. Your comments will be appreciated.

It has been hard to find the perfect distorted tone and I understand when using speaker cabinets it is recommended to keep your cabinet OFF on the Kemper? By doing this, with a few profiles sometimes I come across a poor mudded sound.
I wonder if I should tweak as much as possible keeping the Kemper Cab OFF until it sounds perfect for the kind of speakers and guitars I'll be using, is this the way to go?
Should I leave the Kemper Cab ON and adjust via Pure Cabinet /settings? Sorry if Im way off the game here.

Analog or digital?
When it comes to the recording quality is this just a matter of taste and having more options?
Once I find the right sounds I shall start experimenting miking the Cab with a SM57 to capture a few things, it would be great to hear if you have been recording with miked cabs too.
Enough with the questions, it's nice to be around and I hope you're enjoying your sounds.
Cheers guys!
C.
