I realize this is not a Kemper specific question, but I AM scheduled to play several outdoor, chilly gigs with my Kemper. Besides a fire pit or space heater, does anyone have other suggestions to keep the fingers nice and warm and flexible? I'm toying with a football hand warmer, but that's pretty bulky.

Look for a product called hot hands-I know they have them on Amazon, because we bought a whole box of them. You can put them in your gloves or you can just put them in the pocket of your coat and they will keep your hands warm.

Take a trip to your local hunting supply store, they usually have items like this for fall hunters.

Fingerless gloves Gaz.
I mean ones that go to your mid-finger knuckles.

If I were only playing solos this might work Nicky. For chords not so sure.

If it's that cold I walk out with a tall jar of moonshine in each hand. You can warm the whole crowd up with that.

Cut the fretting-hand's barre-chord (index) finger part of the glove shorter.
I used to use them for outdoor gigs, but I "only" played bass at the time.

Ask the organizer to use older incandescent stage lights instead of LED's.

I'll check them out paults - sounds exactly would I need. It works well?
Yes - my daughter uses them, too, with marching band. They are apparently used by many, many marching bands.

If you warm your hands up, they'll feel colder when you get them out in the open.
Acclimatisation to the situation is everything.
In that regard, make sure you also keep your guitar out in the open and tune up just before you hit the stage, or you'll have a nasty surprise.

This design gives you a little wiggle room.

Who needs gloves with a tank top? Those might be orthopedic.
