Great work! Could this be a new Rig Manager WITH integrated editing?
I see one can manage effect presets in addition to rigs and performances, but not individual cabs?

How does one remove the microphone from an IR? I mean, a microphone is the central piece of equipment that captures an IR signal, yes?
There really isn't a way to do that to my knowledge, however it is possible to do things like place the speaker in an infinite baffle in an anechoic chamber, and mic it with a neutral instrumentation mic. It would be similar to what they do when they take a frequency response plot, just take an IR as well.
The reason different mics are used in IRs is generally because of their individual tones, a SM57 sounds different than a Sennheiser for example. An instrumentation mic such as is used on a RTA is meant to be as neutral as possible.
very well done Kemper team!! Thnx very much, awesome!
First the reverbs, now an editor! This is going to be awesome!
So much at once and it all looks awesome Looks like you gave me everything I wanted. Thank you Kemper What a time to be a guitar player
I guess this will make 6.0
Since we are at beta 5.7, i doubt this is near release.
There's nothing to say the 5.7 beta has to be followed by a 5.7 release, as proven by the 5.6 beta (spring reverbs) which never saw a full release. It's just been hanging there as a beta patch since before summer NAMM (iirc) and now we're on 5.7 apparently. I think the last patch released was 5.5.
Also, who is Ingolf? I seem to think he has something to do with Kemper, am I off? He teased over on TGP to some dude talking about still not having removed his H9 from his board and Ingolf said something like "no need to hurry, you will ;)" so unless I'm off about Ingolf that got me thinking they're maybe doing something with modulation effects?
Editor, I knew it!
Ok, I bet a Chinese $8 Floyd-Rose bridge on a PC/Mac-based Editor!
Kemper guys, you can send me a more expensive Floyd-Rose and I won't complain
Wow what an update!
Thank you Kemper team! We’re all very excited to try all this out!
I sure hope all those guys who said they don’t need an editor will chime in and announce they will refuse to use it.

I refuse to use it.

Can I guess that "cone" is a subtraction of a speakers reponse eq graph from Kemper's ideal IR from their new cabinet?
So "cone" would be available to anyone but only true to Kemper's actual cabinet.
Again, this is a guess.
Pinch me someone!
This is excellent!
Is it too late to sneak a Dimension D effect in there? :-O That's all I need, yaknowwhatimsayin?
Looking forward to more details?...
But why aren't we getting any official announcement? More details? Estimated release date? Something!!
Come on you guys!!
I wish they would have this ready to release when they make the announcement.
We waited almost 6 months for the reverbs to show up.
I am not a doctor
But I have patience
I think...
So one thing announced by Slate Digital is an Overloud guitar amp plug in that “allows Overloud engineers to reproduce the famous amp profiles from one of the most popular hardware amp profiler.”
Interesting?
