New user but not to digital gear. When KPA first came out, I shunned them because I thought they had too many buttons and ugly. Then I read how the front panel works and it made sense, and I liked the flow. I am pretty good with menus and manuals so I could have done an AXFX , but I was attracted to the plug and playability of the Kemper. Then I saw Skid Row using them in a med size hall and their sound was killer (maybe had their original rigs from M.Wagoner?) and I was suddenly way more interested. After hearing a bunch of things online I had to get one /w/ remote. Now my view has changed and I love the way it looks (SteampunkToaster) It took a while to get used to it and figure out how to use it. (I have to know everything it can do morphing etc.) But my fears about it are gone-it sounds amazing. I run an open back V30 cab from the power amp (cab off) and without messing around, it sounds just like the main outs feeding either my mixing desk in studio /w/ studio monitors or live FOH. I thought it would be a challenge to get them aligned but I didn't need to do anything!!! Once I got it dialed in I could not stop playing it and went on until 3:00 am and could hardly see. That's how you know something is great when you can't put it down!

No needing anti depressants or suicidal thoughts here being stuck at home with my KPA with the corona virus thing! I don't WANT to go anywhere but in front of it squeezing sweet tones from it!
