Rig Manager is tied to one account at a time. I'm pretty sure that one USB connection (port) is tied to one read and write process at a time -- something like that.
I ran a Stage and a Rack from RM until I sold the Stage. Pretty sure RM would handle more but the trick is to keep the Profilers named differently and paying close attention to which one you're using for preview otherwise you could load the profile into the wrong machine.

Manual says you cant backup a rack then restore to a player. Compatibility issues.
First set up of a player by importing the favourite rack rigs needs a bit of nursing, especially where theres a compromise of substituting effects.
Solution at the moment:
To drag and drop exported rack-made rigs into player but the player doesnt like some bits.
