Best Amp Factory Profiles?

  • As someone else stated before, the 1963 Fender Vibrolux Brownface from TAF is probably the best profiled amp so far. It has the most beautiful tone and break up I can imagine, just plain fun to play.
It's part of the Vintage & Rare Amp Collection, which is a real bargain when you see the content and its quality.

    Nice demo track:

Absolute BEAST tone you're getting with that profile. Must be the Burstbuckers. Can't wait to get my hands on an LP :)

  • My best profiles are all from the amp factory:

    - Evil Robot Phil X (incredible sound, very versatile for all guitars)
    - JCM800 mod (very good clean similar to plexi, then distorted sound good for '80s hard rock such as Whitesnake, Iron Maiden...)
    - Marshall Superlead plexi (sounds good from SRV, Jimi Hendrix up to Zeppelin, and also beautiful clean)
    - Mesa boogie MarkIIC (for modern high gain)
    - Fender Bassman '59 (classic tweed sound, also good for classic rock Hendrix, SRV)
    - Toneking Imperial (very vintage hot blues sound)
    - Marshall AFD (good overall clean, aggressive GNR sound to be used with humbucker guitar)

    I tried but dislike:

    - Mesaboogie Lonestar Special
    - Marshall JTM66
    - Fender Tremoverb
    - Marshall JMP MKII
    - Toneking Galaxy
    - EVH5150 (I prefer the free rig TAF - Van /m Halen)

  • these are no free profiles
but theres a some set on the download page from kemper
where you can try some for free
    look at downloads,
    Rig Packs,
The Amp Factory Rig Pack I, II & III
For money all packs are very good but i think
the last pack is outstanding good from TAF
