Profiling is a unique process that gives you the ability to capture the authentic tone of your amp, cabinet and mic setup.
what you are referring to is using a simple eq to 'match' one sound to another.
vst plugins like Freefilter did this since the mid-late '90s.
IMO 'tone-matched' guitar pretty much always sounds weird, mostly because the tone your trying to achieve is shaped that way because of the vox, other guitars, the bass and - yes - the drums sound the way they do. without this context the matched tone doesn't make much sense.
nevertheless tone-matching can be done during profiling by feeding the mic's signal into a DAW, processing it there (tone matching) and then sending it back to the Profiler...
but I would strongly recommend to get comfortable with the basic handling of the Profiler first.
then learn to profile,
then, if you still want, try profiling + DAW tone matching.
