More of a Gibson then a Tele, but I really love it
In Preview it shows the Pic, does anybody knows why it gets blocked?

Too large? Max 1mb pic size allowed. Also, links don't seem to work. Must use attachment
It's dangerous and I'm loving the black cherry top. Arrives in a few days. Schecter Hellraiser with Sustainiac.
Treated myself last year to a Fender American Performer Stratocaster HSS, Rosewood, 3 Tone Sunburst.
I've always regretted selling my Squier Strat from when I first started playing.
This has helped fill that void.
Sometimes deals just happen. I saw this D'Angelico Excel SS on FB Marketplace for $500. I knew there had to be something wrong with it. Stopped on the way home, and while it was filthy, the lady said it was never played. Strings were corroded, it seemed to check out. There was a finish crack on one side of the neck, but seems to just be the poly finish. The frets look untouched. Even included a Hardshell case. Built in 2013. I may need to get some Grover locking tuners, but she is purdy!

Congrats!!!! I have one, and I am always stunned at how great the quality of the guitar is. Incredibly comfortable. Playing with the sustainiac is a blast. Most people believe that you just leave it on, but that's the last thing you want to do. Put it on when needed, turn it off when not. The best part is playing an outro chord, and having it on, at the sustain setting, then moving to the high harmonic for a couple of seconds, and turn it off. You get a natural sustain out, but with the upper harmonic overtones.
Congratulations!
What a beauty.

Do you play different styles of music when you switch guitars (or do all your guitars look and feel similar)?
Some deals are just meant to be. Congratulations
D'Angelicos sure have their Deco down.

I have many different guitars for different situations.

Really? I could sub "guitars" for girls, bars, cars, bikes, CD's, MP3's, etc etc etc. You gotta dig the Schecter motto though... "Set up to Play" and they are.

Always thought these look great but worried they don't play as well as they look ( mainly because they look bulky), but great to hear that's not the case.
One might enter onto my " I'd like one of those" list

Smooth choice, my first selfbought electric guitar was a Schecter C1-FR 2007, up to this day is here with me, awesome quality, its been my canvas for experimenting these years. Schecter is awesome in all I have tried, they do your heavy stuff, but dont be mistaken, all they do its great quality, but turns out they became popular for being cheaper esp guitars with chunkier necks and lower price back in the day.
Got this one last week. First time ordering a guitar without playing it. Accept for one string, it was still tuned when it arrived. PRS with a Floyd.
Yesterday was maintenance day.
Here is my process I have been using for years:
Frets are Mirror shiny now!
First photo was the "Before"
Too much work. I have my tech do that stuff.
I just got this 2021 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster
Another Sweetwater fan! Who is Eric Clapton?
Too much work. I have my tech do that stuff.
I don;t trust myself with powertools and guitars.
I'd end up accidentally scalloping my frets!

I find it nursing when I do maintenance to my favorite guitar.
My second Charvel (first one this year) arrived after the #icestorm2021. I'll be Burning Down the House today!
