Not yet. The Transpose feature works for all strings. It's not hard to detune the low E string on the fly anyway. If you practice it, you can do it faster than using an EVH Detuner.
If the guitar has a hard tail bridge, you can quickly and quietly tune the E down to D using the tuner.
I’ve seen people do it the old school way in less than a second by playing the E and D strings, and dropping the E until they sound in tune with each other.
You can do it on non-floating FR type bridges too provided you have good spring tension, or have a trem-stop installed for dive-bomb only.
By turning the fine tuning screw of course.
Before I went to Evertunes, I found this cheap device was great for any hardtail guitar:
can’t be done using the Kemper. Unlikely to ever be added as it would require a hex pickup like the Roland GK etc to isolate which string to detune.

I've not seen that before - that is a clever approach
Can not be done on the Kemper but...

D-tuna...I under stand how it keeps the E string in tune dropping down to D, but wouldn't dropping down to D make all the other strings sharp? What compensates for that? EDIT: Oh I see you can't have a floating bridge. Nope, that's a dealbreaker. what's the point of a "tremolo" that only goes down?

i was wondering the same thing. from the dtuna site:
"Why do the other strings go out of tune when I drop to D?
The bridge must be stabilized first. This is done by blocking the bridge so it can not pull up."

I tend to agree with you although it never seemed to bother some bloke called Eddie ?
I have a Tremol-no on one of my guitars which is nice compromise. Fully floating when required bit can be easily locked in place when required which allows double string bends to stay in tune and allows drop D tuning for the odd song if necessary.
About as simple as you can get for trem stop...

a little block of wood wdged in place is even simpler ? however, the issue with both of these is that they are effectively always on. i.e. you can’t just flick a switch or turn a knob and convert instantly from floating to fixed or down only mid set (or even mid song).

True, but I rarely see a guitarist pulling up on a whammy. Most do vibrato up-down with their finger. At least for the music I am interested in.

???
dude, you’re listening to the wrong music ?

No way! Zakk never had a whammy!

So, like……You mean…..Van Halen is the ‘wrong’ kind of music?
Because, y’know…..without EVH…..Floyd Rose likely doesn’t become a household name in guitar-circles.

Never understood Zakk to be honest.

Eddie was awesome. A one of a kind. I am aware of his down only set up and pointed it out in post #11. His down only whammy use was part of his “thing” but the overwhelming majority of players use the bar both up and down. Not just extreme upward bends or Jeff Beck melodies with the bar; when applying a more subtle vibrato effect most people pull up rather than push down.
I'd rather use my finger for up and down.
Uhh... I think that came out wrong.
