I was planning to route it to headphones only.
What would the purpose be for the monitors? -
For example for the use of in-ear monitoring.

What would the purpose be for the monitors?As I'm planning on using professional in ear monitors in my band this would benefit the feel and sound in them. Front of house would be receiving a normal signal while my IEM's would be receiving the whole band signal as well as my guitar and vocals therefore the space effect would give the guitar a better sound in the headphones but without effecting the FOH sound. Hope this makes sense CK

+1. This sounds like a good features to have, Mr CK.

What if the Space was additionally available as an effect in X or MOD, in case you want to use it for recording?
That sounds good. This way we can get the exact same space sound through both headphones and DAW. -
I am a bit of a newbie here but have the space fx coming through my studio monitors when I am writing and auditioning sounds would be great and using the x button for on and off will make it quick and simple to use

This would be a great addition to me!

Are you guys using IEM straight from the headphone outputs?

Not me CK as I sing also I will have everything routed to the mixer then in to my IEM's

How would you take advantage of the Space effect then for your IEM?

Main out left no space effect to front of house say channel 1 on mixing desk. Then monitor out with space effect on would go to channel 2 on mixing desk that would be routed via the aux to my Shure PSM 200

+1. Most people will use this feature with a 'spaced' monitor out going to an outboard mixer and from there a dedicated aux to a wireless headphone amp.

So with Space on the headphone jack only you would tap the monitor signal on the headphone jack?
Be aware that the Space effect only delivers it's "anti-mono" effect when used in stereo' -

Well, that is the question.
Many have asked for having the auxiliary in separate for the headphone, to mix an external monitor mix to the headphone. There the Space could be applied. The headphone output would then directly feed your IEM.
Is anybody going to use it this way? -

Is anybody going to use it this way?Uhmmmm so if I understand it correctly the mix from my mixing desk other than the guitar (so drums, bass, Vox etc ) come from my desk in to the Aux on the KPA then i connect the headphone in to my Shure PSM200 to give me my IEM mix. Have I got this right CK?
Also if the space was applied here I take it it would still only be applied to the guitar sound not the other instruments feed to the Aux on the KPA
To be honest I've never used the Aux on my KPA yet

Yeah... my current giggin situation:
Guitar -> KPA
KempLine FBV Board -> KPA
Inears -> KPA Headphone Out (with a little space, just sounds so good!)
KPA Monitor Out -> Poweramp and Tonehunters 2x12 cab (to move some air)
KPA Main Out -> FOH
FOH Monitor Signal (everything except guitar) -> Aux In+1 for Space on Headphone only.

mDan, this is a nice setup.
Do you use wireless IEM? -
Hi Christoph,
I'm using a similar set up, but i'm still using an external headphone amp as we set up our IEM in stereo, no wireless. I would like to use IEM hardwired to the profiler in live situations. Is it possible to feed a stereo mix via return and alternative input for monitoring purposes just to headphones? That would be cool if available at the venue (on rehearsal anyway).
EDIT: I see it is.
