OLP Petrucci guitar (bought used 200€...) I totally sanded, walnut staines tainted and tru oil finish... Waiting for Di Marzio Pickups (Steve Special and Air Norton) and Di Marzio pickup selector (EP1111). this thing has a better sustain now than my EBMM JP6 !! I have to say it is also heavier[Blocked Image: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/79967806/IMG_1379.JPG]

Great work, this has become a real beauty!
How does it play and feel? -
That looks great!

Hi thank you,
In fact it is quite different of the EBMM. The neck and the body are thicker than the EBMM so the guitar is heavier. However it has a better sustain and resonance than the EBMM ! I have very small hands so the EBMM neck is perfect for me. However, i really like the OLP neck. The neck with the tru oil finish is very nice, comfortable and fast !
Honestly I spent 200€ for the guitar, 50€ in furniture (tru oil, paper sand, Walnut Stain), and I will spent 120 extra bucks for used Di Marzio humbuckers and for the pickup selector > so at 370€, I will have a formula one. I am very very happy of the purchase. The OLP "lutherie" is very good, and this natural finish shows how good it is. The original painting was not tasty at all and gave to the guitar a "cheap" appearance...

Love the finish, the colour (my favourite one) and the fading fretboard tone as well
