Kemper is probably traveling to NAMM. Companies tend to be short staffed during this period.
-
As long as they don't expect payment from me when the remote is ready to ship then it's cool. Tried canceling since Thursday when it wasn't the weekend and hopefully everyone at kemper isn't going to NAMM! Leave some workers to deal with existing customers having issues

Just make it so the funds are not available, maybe?

I'm sure you can relax, Rich.
They certainly will get back to you after the weekend when the clumsiness of the shopping experience will be (hopefully) sorted.
And to expect a payment when you don't want the unit is not Kemper's style anyway. -
I think it would be odd for Canadians to use the international store which is geared towards European orders and charges VAT vs. using the U.S. Store (which is what I did) that charged me an extra $50 for shipping.
no, the international store is for everybody OUTSIDE the USA

Hi,
What will be the ordering time after the early bird phase? Lets say, if I would order in march or april?
I am on the early bird list, but deleted my mail (or better: I did not save it and waited too long, until my spam folder deleted it)...
Initially I did not want to order because of the price... Right now, I am not sure, if I might change my mind soon... However, if orders in March will be shipped in a normal time frame (one or two weeks), I could also just wait... and do a regular order at that time...
What was the ordering procedure for early birds? Just use the smae mail adress and thats it? -
so , all in all to wait a bit until they fix the internet store ? huh

You dont need he actual email. Just go to the kemper store site and make sure the account you create uses the same email address you sent the early bird request from. Its really that easy. -

Yep! If you wrote an email to sign up for the Early Bird offer, then all you need to do is order the Remote, using the email that you signed up with.Edit : green blob beat me to the punch!
Cheers,

gsThat's strange. I work in music retail in Canada and we get all our kemper stuff from the US distributor. Not sure why I should pay VAT and in Euros when we always get our Kempers from the US...
I'll just wait to get it through the US distributor if I have t pay in Euros as that would cost me quite a bit more than paying in US dollars. -
You only have to pay VAT if you live in Europe. Once you go to the Checkout, VAT is subtracted from the order.
So total in Euro is roughtly €419, this is actually much cheaper when you factor in Xchange rate, given the US price is $599US -
Yarzo, that's incorrect. Just tried placing an order through the international store and my total cost to Canada is 649 euros.
I see the 419 plus 50 for shipping and then it turns to 599 plus 50 euros for shipping at the checkout screen.
-
Just sent an email to Kemper to have things explained/cleared up.

hmmm ... it doesn't here, i've just tried that. you get €419 (which is €499 ex VAT) + shipping €50.- which totals 469 and not 649 ... are you that the shipping costs are calculated for canada and you're buying through the international store?
gs -
Yeah I'm on the international store. I see the 419 until the checkout screen where it becomes 599 plus 50 euros for shipping.

Anyone order from the US store with a California address? I think they missed California in the dropdown list for the shipping fee calculator
Also, anyone successfully order using PayPal?
