JenReading the manual is the only thing keeping me sane at this point. I have grown too reliant on the near instant gratification of Amazon prime.

Hello sunshine.
During my strenuous research on these forums leading up to my purchase I found your posts to be quite helpful, sir.

Welcome.
Some advice:
Read the manual
Download and install the rigmanager
Check out some of the user clips from my honepage (or from other sellers) and check if you like the overall sound.
If not - check out if you need another monitor system - compare with good headphones.
Tell your wife that you do not spend any more money for guitar amps in the future ...
.... and spend all this money (and more) for great guitars
Another advice: save for the remote

The remote is coming with the unit! I bought this specifically for live use so the remote was an absolute must. I think I got a pretty fair deal on the whole setup used. I have read the manual about three times already in anticipation. Whenever a weird thought about "can I do this?" pops into my head, I come here and have found the answer every time so far. I'm already planning on using a 2x12 for stage feel and I have CIEMs I will be using for monitoring.
My wife will assume this unit wasn't expensive, since I have spent the last 10 years bitching about digital/modelers to her as I buy vintage amp after boutique amp. She will be ECSTATIC when I start thinning that collection out. It's my father-in-law, the purist, that will probably never accept that I play digital now. Him and my bass player, who has built me custom amps and has been my repair guy for about 6 years. In fact, I can't wait to profile the amp he built me and share it with everyone!
