I love your drummer!!!
-
Yeah he's really good, but he did wonk about a couple of times, but I'm not worried.
So did all the rest of us as well, it's the first rehearsal this year after all, we will get our stuff togetherThis is the drummers main band

That guitarist is OTT sick, man.
-
Yeah the TF guitarist is amazing
-
Too right, mate.
The singer's got some range too.
Pity you can't "borrow" both him and that guitarist... or could you?
-
We had our first rehearsal yesterday and I decided to film it... It's a "virtual multicam" setup because I only have one camera
Basically we played the song three times. Basically I chose the drum tracks from filming the drummer, my guitar track from filming me and the vocals/2nd guitar when filming the singer/2nd guitarist, obviously. The bass player didn't have time to attend yesterday, so we played a prerecorded bass track through the Cymatic Live Player LP-16, which also functions as MIDI automation for our Digitech GSP1101 guitar/bass rig.
I do not have a full time line-up for this band at the moment, but I have a few hired guns for this years gigs:
Philip Forsell (Antham) on vocals
Daniel Sjögren (Twilight Force / Bloodbound) on drums
Jimmy Mattsson (Isole / Ereb Altor) on bass (obviously not around in the video)External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. That's kick-ass man! Would love to see/hear the whole set

I haven't tried the "Jarrah" honey (not jar-a honey lol), trick for sore throats but hear it works very well before gigs too?

That singer isn't with them anymore tho.And I've already asked him a couple of years ago but he wasn't interested.
I don't need their guitarist because I already have Emil

We'll definitely record our first show! Maybe film it as well.
I don't have any real movie cameras tho, only an old little digital camera that shoots a maximum of 10 minutes so that will not work a for a live setting. However I'm looking for affordable laternatives go GoPros... Would like to have 3x so we could shoot our gigs from 3 angles
-
Ahh... yeah, I remember Emil. I was actually wondering if it might have been him in TF.
-
Nah, but I honestly think Emil could replace the TF guy if he spent more time playing guitar, but the last few years have been a lot of work for him, which is understandable, but he still have chops
I play a lot and I will never get close to those guys
-
Don't feel bad, mate.
I mean, even if I played a lot, I'd never get close to you.
EDIT:
I think you're selling yourself short, Ceddy.Playing like them is just a bunch of arpeggios (which I simply cannot do) away from where you're at, I reckon. The thing is 'though, you pick really "clean", have great timing, awesome vibrato and pitch / bend extremely well, IMHO.
As I said, throw in a few arpeggios and you're "them". You rock big-time, brother, so maybe never say never?
-
I think GoPros are the way to go. They have great stabilization too in case the camera operator has had a few
-
Heeey Cederick, awesome sounds and band, congrats! I have a GSP1101 too, and always been searching for IRs, but there are millions out there and the GSP has limited specs. Where do you recomend to find the best IRs for the GSP? Any other tips for GSP IRs? Thank you!

Licorice root works man!! Trust me.
Many Singers i know use it
http://theteaspot.com/licorice-root-sore-throat-tea.htmlAsh
I like Licorice, but you gotta be careful with it as it increases blood pressure to the best of my knowledge.
-
Yep its safe to use daily at about maximum of six grams a day when used for a 130-pound person
Works well for singers BEFORE the gig as it helps stop the damage later, you can use that dose daily for a few weeks to repair the damage works like a charm, just dont have it 1–3 months straight , well that would be a pretty sore throat to have to do that any how (and i dont want to know what you have been up too LOL)Ash
