Requesting a tremolo option : "Don’t follow tap tempo"
As soon as I tap delay the tremolo rate changes with it.
Sometimes that's a good thing but sometimes you ONLY want to change the delay..
This should be pretty easy to fix.
Tnx for listening.

+1 for this. Also required for other FX such as Phaser, Flanger and Chorus where I often want the sweep to independent of tempo but might still want to tap the tempo for delays.
+1 for some clever way to have the best of both worlds.
+1 tap tempo changes fx that I don’t want to change
I support this.
There might be a flag in every tempo-responding type of effect that allows to exclude that specific effect instance in the rig from reacting to tap.
So, I played around with this: in the Rig Menu, I tried several configurations of tempo enable and lock tempo. I even tried locking the tempo enable unchecked. But, as I assume y'all have surmised, as soon as you press the tap tempo button, all revert to tap tempo. Don't have time right now to delve in further but there may be a way (read "work around").

This is exactly the probleme, and there seems to be no workaround..
Yep, Tap affects the whole rig, because the Tempo settings relate to that specific menu/environment.
I also asked for this feature last year.
This is a major oversight forcing all time based effects to lock to a tempo speed. They should be independent.

Did you get any response from Kemper last year?

yes. see link: Feature - set effect tap independent of tempo
This is a major oversight forcing all time based effects to lock to a tempo speed. They should be independent.
Coming from Axe fx and later a combination of boss ms3 with Kemper this feels like a shortcoming.
So.., no reaction from Kemper so far. I would really love to see what they think about this...? Maybe they even have a solution for this probleme.
In the meanwhile: tapping tempo delay means all other fx in that patch (like trem, chorus, etc) are also being tempo synced. ☹️
It would be good to hear from Burkhard or Kemper Support #1 whether the team have given this any consideration.
I support independent tempos!

In the meantime, back to the good old “Fulltone supa-trem”. It’s not tempo-based when I don’t want it to be and it doesn’t need any updates.

Please guys look into this. It’s a much needed feature and a very logical question. Followup needed
Great idea! A soft button for time based modulation effects that enables you to sync with tap tempo or choose not to would be great!
