You, Per and Joe have this thing in common that you write/arrange tunes and play guitar like I never could. So I do enjoy your music and see every tune you publish as a learning opportunity.

Thx a lot, valuable comments , as always with you Mats, we really appreciate your educated views.

I suggest learning from the master directly & not from the pale copy ;) , ie check this original album by Tommy Guerrero :

The timing in this track is what makes it so special in my ears.

exactly , the bass is a bit behind / late while the gits are before and in a kind of hurry , it takes time to learn these timing skills, while you can easily cheat this in the DAW.

Musically, I grew up on this kind of music so I love every bit of this track.

Thx Mats, the star is the DX here , what a wonderful synth , especially the arturia VST , so easy to edit and full of iconic presets :) I love synth more & more

Well done Mats, great floyd tones and vibe , Great muted strat notes, I love'em very much we call them 'cocottes' in french

... did you use the phaser vibe for that slow roto effect ?

I would suggest an even deeper & more sustaining bass , as there is room for more on my monitors & I love deep basses vs a very clean guitar & lead

Thus we consider since quit a while to offer one or two software upgrade (with costs), that will boost the Players features towards the Head, Rack and Stage.

wOT , a kind of DLC ??? that's pretty strange , especially for the ones already owing the big brothers.

the player has already a few connectivity limitations , no profiling ability, and only a few fx slots ... etc, why take the DLC road ???

I do not really understand the FX limitations ??? why only a selection of the actual FXs , I don't think it's due to power limitations but by choice ???

It's disturbing , as most of my tones have a carefully build set of fx , like phaser vibe etc .. . I understand the loops & only 4 slots , but why limit the type of fx :/

hey Renaud thanks for thinking about me!! Nice track!

It is a new SC account?

    Thx !

Yes it's a new one, I already filled 3 free soundcloud accounts & I won't pay anybody to make money on me & my own music

Artists should at least get free pro accounts on soundcloud , spotify & other parasites , it's a real shame for these platforms to consider artists as a source of money while we are the ones producing tracks for the customers and attract listeners ...

I feel the bass is just a teenie tad heavy on the low end and may distort some speakers

yeah a tad heavy I reckon, as I was really glad with the groovy bassline , probably the 'bassist mixer' syndrome ;)

I reduced it by .4 db and it's fine now, but too lasy to upload again

there is a Nile rodgers in the official packs :

nil rod on 'legends tribute 1-3

or just go on a clean fender, add the comp stomp on the default 'hard' setting , reduce verb and here you go

Yes the toaster has some very nice setup for dialing an amp , just like the regular thing. So it's easy to build of tone just for you. as for FX , it's direct with the upper row for fxes.

However , I would suggest a remote just to switch from rig to rig by foot switches, as the toaster uses a knob to browse rigs.

You should open a ticket to support , they probably have some previous experience with similar demands.

Here is a groovy one, with some great bass parts and flow ... and some Les Paul licks for my friend Angelo ;)

Bass is amp pig cln from stock profiles, works great on my Jazz bass

Vocals may appear in some distant future ...

Don't worry , they will soon show up for most digital units.

I plan to profile NAM's magnatone SP59 , it's already a killer magnatone amp , I'l let you know as soon as I hit the holidays and take some time profiling some stuff for you to play with.

Another one I'd like to try is the new toneking royalist , sounds killer.

Great SG Angelo, well done on that purchase , I really like bronks and listen to it often, that's a very good tone,

looking forward your next recording with the SG and new pups

Swell has a cool 60's songwriting & vibe , well done man

Don't be afraid is pretty cool with that great muted riffing

Please stay is very pop , great vocals harmonies

Vampires has a great grind bass

overall I really feel the 60's & west coast has inspired you very much in tones , vibe ( the verbs do a lot ) and songwriting
