It looks to be at least as solidly built as the G-System (it even has a "display guard", if I am seeing the picture correctly), and won't have the chaos that can happen when the UP and DOWN buttons on the G-System are both pushed

Never mind, already posted.

Dear Kemper, put this in a nice case and make it available before the end of the month so I can take it on tour immediately :p
-
The protective bar that is located under the display might get in the way of the bank down / stomp I switches. ... I hope people at Kemper have made sure that this is not a problem for people with large feet

available during NAMM (starts 23.01) be sure to be on the preorder list for forum members only!

600 US dollars!.... Ouch!........was hoping it would be a little cheaper than that. Maybe $350-$400 range. You can buy a new decent guitar for that price. I know it's German made, and a niche product, with high end components, but damn.
-
It was said that it will be cheaper than 500,- but unfortunately it is not possible to make the price under 400,- because it will be manufactured in Germany.
I would rather pay more and have it made in Deutschland with better quality than in China with highly questionable quality.
-
Looks really well made and though out. I'll be ordering one of these!! £400 that's a fair price so I'm happy all round especially as you know it will always intergratewith with the KPA

The Remote is everything I expected it to be.

Any button for Delay, Reverb, Mod and X?

Any button for Delay, Reverb, Mod and X?
Of course. You can freely assign them to switches I-IV. -

And there was talk a while back about assigning more than 1 effect to each of the I-IV switches. I really like this idea so I hope it's true

It is. It was in the leaked operating instructions for the remote

And you can connect more than one Remote via Ethernet-Hub. So your Roadie can switch your Sounds.

I'll tell my roadie.
Oh wait, I have none. -
Mine is busy fetching the drinks.

Looks like everything I hoped it would be. Price tag seems reasonable, but I'll probably resist for a while, am really curious to see how far I can get with my pedal switching system, because I like the idea of being able to loop pedals in and out of the Kemper and as of now, I am able to access everything I need to.
I have a feeling though that the run might be limited. For one, I know the Remote is going to make use of NRPN for advanced control of Kemper parameters. That is a compelling argument to get one, but as mentioned, I am more interested in determining how far one can get with midi programming on the Kemper.
For example, it would be awesome to be able to access some of the looper functions available on the Remote with a regular board. With five switches available to me, I could just navigate to another bank and use that as a looper control. Of course, at the moment, I am not confident in my ability to do so, given that access to those functions may be limited to certain NRPN commands. Still, pushing the envelope on what can and can't be done via midi appeals to me, since I am in a reasonable comfort zone.
My view on the price? I think it is fair, but at the same time, I think it is a little high, but that's to be expected from a proprietary product. I am glad to hear that a 21 foot CAT cable will be included, that's a good length. I will be definitely getting one when the time is right. Features such as turning on/off two effects simultaneously does not appeal to me greatly, because I use more of a "patch" approach to arrangement of my performances. I get a little confused by the layout still, but I'm sure nothing like having one under foot to get some hands on experience.
What will be interesting to know is how many performances I can store in the device. I am sure it will be able to use all the available slots on the Kemper, but how many is that exactly? I can store 25x5 performances on my board, I wonder about the Remote. Would have loved a colour LED as well, or at least I'm hoping the stomp switches on the Remote will change colour when active or not. That would be extremely handy.

They will!Cheers,

SamNot too sure about that. Apparently the ones at the bottom may just be painted on, according to another thread! If you look closely, the LEDs are above the footswitches, which should work just as well, though coloured rings would have been nicer imho.
