He's a great guitarist, for sure! Excellent dynamics and phrasing.
I really wish I could switch between bare fingers and a flat pick like that. I use all of my picking hand fingers for a lot of stuff though, so I've never found a workable way to stash the pick. If I need to switch during a song I usually use the flat pick plus my other 3 fingers.

Has a great unique style and amazing feel, and his Friday Fretwork vids are worth catching.

I Iike him so much... Classic but original, full of tricks... He is so expressive... Very inspirational. And, while being very accessible, so far away from the mainstream... And a lot of energy and feel.
Well, I really cannot explain it, just go and see and hear him playing.
