I erased everything from my youtube channel 2 days ago because those bastards erased the sound of some of my videos because of copyright issues. Damn they are only covers like thousand of others in youtube... One advice don't play Hotel California...
I switched everything on dailymotion :

I bet they didn't delete Phil x on that guitar demo using Hotel California... I don't get it either, there are full movies, concerts, and covers all over youtube, so how do they decide who to delete from... doesn't make any sense
-
it is 100% deletion time if you use the original track and play over it, youtube has some sort of 'audio detection' that checks if the sound spectrum of a song is the same as those copyrighted
I've come across a method to come around this, which is to add some sort of modulation effect on the original song track, but do it so subtly that you can't recognize the effect (chorus, flanger, whatever), the sonic spectrum will change and i've had no warnings since!
-
nice tip to add a moudation to fool that 'audio detection'
(funny related topicdid you also try to invert L and R channels? I wander if it may works the same)
-
I haven't tried that, because most of the covers I play/played on, I only have one track (mp3), and if there's a way to split this into a stereo track I have no idea how to, but i guess it's worth a try
