Unwanted distortion noise

Is the input or output led going red when it happens?

Check your input setting and test different settings. see Vid:

I am getting unwanted distortion sounds from my Kemper. Even on clean sounds there is an distortion sound a bit like you get from a blown speaker. I know its not the speakers as the Kemper is the only thing that affects it. Its also somewhat intermittent. I invested in a power conditioner to see if that helps but it's no different. Any ideas?

Also, check whether your signal is hitting your speakers too hot.

Please try to connect the monitors directly to the analog outs of the Profiler for a test.
Maybe you are clipping the spdif input of your interface. Have you tried to lower the spdif out volume in the output menu?

Do you get this with headphones, using the HEADPHONE out (!) of the Profiler?

Have you tried connecting your speakers directly (!) to the Profiler - be very careful with the MASTER VOLUME, as active monitors are usually always running full power. <- !
