I have been taking a mini vacation away from my usual rock/blues/jazz leanings with the electric guitar
and concentrating on my nylon string guitar. (Not completely as I have MBritt's Vox and Dumble profile packs
for much enjoyment )Lately, I've been listening to more classical and Brazilian (Samba, Boss Nova) music and stumbled across
Clube Do Balanco. I think I could easily enjoy playing in such a band with a lot of rhythm in the future.External Content youtu.beContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. I am following these guys from Switzerland since 1981. Their new album is blowing me away. If I only were able to be that powerful when I finally will be 71 years old. (Unfortunately YouTube is killing the excellence of that mix - but its still great)

I just bought the entire catalog of Death on itunes and couldn't be more happy with the "new music" I get to listen to.
My ipod died after many years of service and all my CDs are back home, so I had nothing to listen to before I bought the albums.
Killer stuff, cannot recommend it highly enough.

There's usually more than one uploader on YouTube:

That Yello is a crew from Switzerland was a new information for me. -
That's a great effort from Yello, for sure. Easily one of their best pieces IMHO.

Yep. And for Boris Blank irs very much true today. Dieter Meier on the other hand is driving a own lounge or bar in Berlin, a cow ranch in South America and what not...! Cosmopolitan guy and the last *playboy*...

So true. This is the first record - after so many - which is topping their very first album. The Touch was very close, though. Its good to know that old musicians can be really creative. Being more ecperienced or better playing seems normal. But creativity is a different biest.

I think we are in the same age. Therefore I would like to repeate the words of the old Aristophanes:
To carry owls to Athens. -
