5 second rule!
I believe that rule has been scientifically disproved! Still, if no one's looking, you can just pretend you're eating at McDonald's! Probably more sanitary too!

Amen, brother! Sweet amp!
Did you just buy the Laney LFR 1x12?
No, man. I am really looking for a good solution to amplify my Kemper in stereo. The Laneys look real good, but there are also the Line6 Powercabs, and on top of that, there are also the Headrush FRFRs. Also the trusty DXRs. To boot, someone near me is selling a Matrix GT1000FX and two Matrix CFR12s for a decent price.Since I have no clue on any of these devices, I am biding my time. Sam said he was going to do a review of the Laneys, so that will be interesting. I am still more inclined towards the CFRs, though I would have to pay to get a power amp (maybe a stereo Camplifier?) for the Kemper.

I wouldn't call those crackers either. In my mind, crackers are always square and have a more cheesy taste. These round ones are always salty sea dog biscuits in my mind. -
My buddy is selling a Matrix GT1000 1U and I'm contemplating buying it. Nice amp!

It's an awesome amp. And that's one of the reasons I am really getting into mini amps and combos these days. Easy and portable enough to play small gigs, but if you want to go bigger, just plug into something like the Matrix!Of course, while the Matrix is good for FRFR, I'm still undecided whether I would be better served by something like a VHT or Mesa power amp, which add their own colour to the amplified sound like a traditional power section of a guitar amp.
The Friedman Power Station II also looks like an excellent device. Not only is it a load box with line out, it's also a great attenuator and to boot, it's got a 60 watt power amplifier built in to boost your mini amp. I was thinking of getting one and running my Mark V:25 through it.
Great times to be a guitarist!

Malcolm X wouldn't call them crackers either (relax its a joke)

Hahaha @MalcolmX joke! The Matrix power amps are stereo, I was contemplating getting one and then using with a pair of CFR12s for stereo!
Goddamn it, Ash, time to cut back on buying profiles, save a stash of cash and invest in an Apollo!

Won't be for a few weeks yet, though. Gotta get me them dollars, first

Damnit! Been buying and selling Vibes lately as I just have to have one - always - LOL! Broke down and got this...again, here we go!
-
Very tasty unit. Love the Choruses, rotory, and vibe on it.
Have you tried a Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe? I still have one kicking about from the 90’s. Still my favourite pedal for added mojo.
-
That's the one vibe I haven't tried lol. I had a Castledine SupraVibe that I bought directly from Stu, which was awesome, but eventually I wanted to free up some board real estate. Now I'm full circle with regards to that haha. I like the other effect on the Mobius too tho', like you say, especially the chorus/rotory/trem. I really like the sound of the RM Voodoo Vibe+, would love to try it for sure!
-
I have a vibe from the house of Strymon as well, but it's a much, much older one.

Very cool unit that has modulation, delay and reverb in one box. Plus, it's midi controllable, so you can actually turn on/off individual sections, as well as adjust parameters using midi, including through CCs from an expression pedal.
The vibe in it is great! Very lively. The phaser and chorus are also quite killer.

I've been looking for a 5150 style amp and picked this up this morning.

Victory Kraken. Pretty damn amazing through my Hesu 1x12 cab, really brutal. I'd really love to make some profiles, but will refrain till I have a 4x12 in my possession.

He has a profile pack for the Kraken out, Ash! He had recommended the amp and profiles to me a long time ago when I was asking about a tube amp that could djentIt's really amazing how you can get a good tone out of almost every position on this amp, I love the ones that can do that. The cleans are probably the weakest point, since they aren't true cleans and have a bit of grit on them. But the distortion is excellent, kind of like a 5150, but more in control, if my description of the sound makes any sense.
I am narrowing in on a nice 4x12, guys, something pretty unique. If I can get it in my hands, I will be making some profiles with it and sharing them

Haha, and one more potentially in the pipeline... A Soldano! But I'm haggling on price, so it may not come through. Let's see
