Has anyone else noticed the extremely high number of Kempers hitting the auction sites.
There seems to be a very high turnover for the Kempers. I see way less of the other modelers on the used market. Honeymoon phase? The novelty dies?

Hey monotone, many of those sellers will repurchase Kempers in the not-too-distant future.
We see it time and again here. Some have even done it three times.
Just sayin'.
They're definitely popular at the moment, but will never be everyone's thing. I imagine they can be bewildering to a lot of people and it's easier to stuff up than plugging into a tube amp.
Yeah, and it's amazing how many sell and go back to their tube amps (not other modellers)... only to return, in many cases.
It's not like most are selling their Kempers in order to switch to Helix or Axe, although some do of course.

Stirring the pot again?
I don't see any higher turnover for the Profiler than for other modelers.
My gut feeling actually indicates the Helix turnover rates are higher.
But I won't go to the Line 6 forum making a bold statement and open a thread about it.

Didn’t you hear? The Kemper 2 is coming out tomorrow.
He's been banned.
That's the shortest one I've ever seen - only 'til the 20th which is today over here in Oz, and the post was made 14 hours ago.
So... 1 day or less?
Yo!
Just checked out of interest...
There are 3 on sale in the UK on Ebay - there are also 3 Helix's...hardly a mass exodus or trend.
Not even one Profiler on E-Bay Kleinanzeigen (Germany's Craig's list).
I live in a major US metropolitan area and I rarely, if ever, see used Kempers on the market.
Reverb usually has at least a dozen used, and there's only one. None in my local area either.
So, pot stirred and settled in short order.
Just did a search: two Kempers - one rack, one toaster for sale in my area.
It's just a case of 'the grass is greener on the other side'. When a new system comes out and gets a lot of buzz, the thought they are missing something, and the urge to get it becomes unbearable for some people. so, they sell the best piece of gear, just to get the shiny new toy. When the "newness" wears off, they'll be back.
I was surprised see one on my local Craigslist the other day, going for $200 more than what I paid for mine. I guess it didn't last long, the ad has been deleted.
What's this, a stir-the-pot, hit-and-run effort?
Mono's ban ended almost 2 weeks ago and he hasn't acknowledged anything we've said.

They never do... trolls
I wonder what the turnover rate for trolls is on the Kemper forum versus others...
