Question, some cabs from certain studio profiles will work like magic on other studio profiles. I`m curious to know if there are some specific common favorites in the user community.
A cab that can be used for al different styles off music. Thanks.
What`s your favorite allround kemper cab to lock on other studio profiles?

I very often (maybe 90% of all profiles) use Celestion IRs.. usually one of those made with SM57 but I do not have only 1 favourite..

The only ones I use regularly are from MBritts cab pack. Some great improvements with less good profiles !!

"MBritts cab pack"?
Please, tell me more, man!

Crumpets!
It says, "New!" on the page, but I wonder if this might've dropped whilst I was away for 8 months enjoying a hard-earned NBD? Incredible that I'd not heard of it.
Thank you so much, Bruce!

One of Guidos Bogner 412SL cabs just sounds great in our DXR based PA.
I always seem to return to that one...
He uses that cab on many profiles and they all sounds slightly different so You just have to find one that fits Your need. -
Hey Monkeyman,
I deleted all my other cab packs within my Kemper for Mbritts - I use the Marshall ones most - It does make a big difference in sound . Don't need or look for others since I got these ( I use them also with great succes with studio profiles !!)
Highly recommend them

Hi Janne, the Guido Bogner 412SL cab is the original cab of my main profiles

I'd like to echo that when you have a few cabs saved as presets as go-to's it makes things a lot easier. You can still add more over time but I like to keep the preset list short so I don't get tone vertigo or too many options syndrome.
-
Well I can only speak for myself and I must say it depends on the profile which ones that will work or not. But most of the time I use the cabs in the studio profiles.

I cant believe it has not been posted yet, But Lars (deadlight Studios, formally the tone hammar)
1960AV Cab and Mesa oversized cabs have saved me and many others COUNTLESS rigs. The 1960AV cab would have to be one of the best rock cabs that i have ever experienced, taken me years to go through all the rigs I have.
Dont just take my word for it, try it, there is some thing special about that cab, i dont know if its the way he miced it up or what
Still blown away by it.Frank will back me up(he loves it too)

I totally respect your opinion on such things, after all. Can't wait to actually try it.

@ ashtweth, is this 1960AV cab from a specific pack? I have a couple of packs from Lars so maybe I`m lucky.
-
it MAY be in the free pack what packs do you have?

Mbritt's 3rd power cab, think it's a switchback 2x12? Not sure the specific profile, but he uses this cab as one of the options in a lot of his sets. Seems to be a more "neutral" cab in that it brings out whatever amp you use it with. I have a bunch of his sets and always seem to like the profiles of his that have this cab the most.
