Thanks BayouTexan and waraba !
I’m afraid on this one it’s not totally raw, I also have a master EQ and stereo widener and I presume internally some form of multiband compression in the form of the UAD SPL Vitalizer. I’m still weening myself off.

yep it's cool to see some dynamics , master bus comp & fx sure lower the dynamics on most presets. I like a raw mix from time to time
Doesn't have to be raw to not be an assault on one's ears of course brother.
If it's not smashed to smithereens that's a great start IMHO.
All of a sudden I find your mixes more open and balanced and I hear each part better.
Regarding this specific tune, I really like the arrangement and the guitars are just spot on for the style.
Cheers,

Sounds great Per i love the song and the arrangement
I think the fart fuzz needs just a little bit of low cut? It's very close to my headset flubbing out. Frequency response: 15Hz–30kHz
yeah odd vibration on my left speaker on that bass from 0:28
great track & vocals
Thanks Mats_Nermark Franjoe30 and BayouTexan ! I guess upgrading the monitors made a difference then, I’ll keep an eye on it BayouTexan .
OK Per I'm in distress now it works
The new monitors definitely working. Remember... less is more.
It's so nice to get new toys! I want my new tele so bad to play country so you guys can tear me up on critiques! "Dude, that doesn't sound anything like country"
All of a sudden I find your mixes more open and balanced and I hear each part better.
If he'd listened to me 100 pages ago...
Well-done Brother Per. Sounds like progress to me bro'.
Thanks Monkey_Man !
Almost Per-fect. Ease back the low on kick slightly and lower the maxi compressor some. Otherwise it's crisp!
Thanks for checking it out BayouTexan - What’s a maxi compressor?
There’s separate compression on vocals and bass, and the drums have a multiband to add punch to the kick.

It sounded like a maximizer-compressor on the kick where it's pushing the low a little too hard in volume and then it flubs out in the mix. The kick should have a "smoother" feel but keep the low EQ pretty much the same ( I like lows). Maybe just try to tighten up the release on the kick some, or try to separate the bass from kick more. The reverb on drums could be adding to the flub I hear making it stand out more but the reverb is good as you have it - it adds a nice raw-lively feel.
Some pretty chord changes there bro'.
Thanks Monkey_Man !
Bass and kick line up nicely, I like that midrange pick attack on the bass against the kick. Vocal chorusing and solo at 1:00 is damn good.
