Hiwatt Liquid Profiles, and new Hi Power pedal.

It would be great to see some HiWatt liquid profiles if Kemper could model the tine stack.

I've bought and checked out many Gilmour profiles and none seem to get me that squeaky/glassy (in a good way) sound like the solo in WYWH. I can get close though.

The Hiwatt pack from MattFig gets me there with my strat

People dont realize the hiwatts were just power amps. He had the preamp sections isolated an used the Alembic F-2B preamp wich was a bassman preamp. So chassing the hiwatt sound alone doesnt help

As far as I can make out based o comments by his tech, he only started using the Alembics in the mid ‘90’s though. So the classic era tones would have been the Hiwatts in their full glory.

Hiwatt DR 103 tonestack is different to Marshall and Fender and they need Fane Speaker.

Clean Amps are a challenge for Kemper

I never profiled my 1972 dr103 but there should be some nice profiles out there

Andy at TAF had a pack of profiles of Gilmour’s own HiWatt at one time. Unfortunately he doesn’t seem to still be selling profiles though.

Tesla's Frank Hannon moved from Marshalls to Hiwatts at some point over recent years, and after hearing the great rock tones he got out of them went on a bit of a HiWatt profile hunt - tried a bunch, and in the end Guidorist's merged pack (with Celestion G12M65 IR's) gave me exactly the sound I was after, and to this day some of my favourite Kemper profiles for any style.

Would be great to get a Hiwatt tonestack added at some point (and some liquid profiles), definitely great amps, and not just for classic The Who or Pink Floyd tones.
