Why was he banned ??

He does not hold a grudge but he told me they said he was telling users to alter something when in fact he was telling them not to.
Cripes!
Must... hold... tongue... ouch!
I have done my best to help get the nonsense to stop.
But people need to think about this.
If you understand /AND OR are passionate about some thing, then you have to understand that he means well
Please keep this in mind and hopefully this is a Temp Ban.
When he is back, if we can all ditch the other nonsense and get along and help each other , this issue will blow over.

Wow. Hope it's not permanent. Damian has been pretty helpful, I feel.
Bizarre.
He is banned due to character limits in the subject field l. The limit is 60 and he was on his final warning I think.
I love how everything is discussed to death around here these days...
Sometimes I feel like I'm in a cooking forum.
I was reading a thread with sinmix involved last week. This thread became nasty and I remember that one operator kindly asked to stop the argument right here and now. They didn't. Tried to search for this thread, cannot find it. Could well have been deleted.
BTW: I love this forum for all the kind and helpful people. That thread was the very first (and only) which was, well: different.

Would be interesting - I can't remember such a thread in the last week where sinmix himself was involved.

yeah if you compare this message board to the rest of the internet, it's a holy hiipiesque spirit here which is a good thing!

Its an old cheese and Sinmix was not involved in this thread.
He was already banned for 10 days.

Indeed. I am never 100% sure if my memory serves me well.
Tried to find it with google (they are never forgetting!). No success. On the other hand: the Kemper guys MUST have a good reason, it is their business. Its their website. Its their responsability.

Almost right. But we are also clients where this forum is one reason why we bought a KPA. We are not member for free - it needed to buy a kemper.
For me it is a part of our contract. I accept the rules but expect this also from the partner.

I wouldn't worry too much. It's obviously the 'Mandela Effect'. Times they are a'changing.

Hey, we only discuss the important stuff... and the unimportant stuff.
Hang on... D'Oh!
Damien Greda came up with some very good stuff (I remember him being involved in some very technical discussions and I think he was also putting together some kind of editor) and was very helpful. I am quite disappointed to learn that he was banned and will not be back.
I am also pretty sure that Sinmix will eventually be banned for good, probably over something trivial like exceeding a 60-character count in a thread title.
Seems that getting busted on a technicality is how it's done in the real world.
I mean honestly, you'd expect there to be a limit on characters that can be entered, rather than warnings and bans for exceeding a character count. Does that make sense to anyone?
How many letters was he over the character count? I'll note that there is a 10,000 character count for posts, and you cannot exceed it, because the post does not take place. Why not something like that for a thread title?
The infamous $50 thread was asking for trouble and if someone called BS on a tall claim, it was fair game. Guys seem to have no problem with Lasse Lammert saying that his profiles are better than anyone else's (he explicitly states that is why he is charging $50), but if Sinmix says the same thing, it's apparently bad form.
If you don't want people posting on your thread, go create your own website where you maintain admin rights. And if you can't stand criticism, get off the effin' internet.
there is a difference between criticism and being a douchebag. There are at least 3 other guys that do better work than sinmix and act like actual people.
