Finally we can hear the note content of the vox clearly brudda.
Really-clearly, thanks to the "speaker effect" / mid-boost / low-cut's bringing the pitch component to the fore.
Job well-done man.

Sadly in this case I decided to use autotune for effect (during the quieter “verse” section at least) so the note content you hear is mostly its characteristic warble.
Normally I just cut mids, compress and throw on a delay on my vocals, in this case I also ran it through Neutron in places for the first time in months both for its de-esser and to try out the unmask tool. It was way too fierce at first but I tried to dial it back just enough to create subtle clarity. I’m not sure I like how trebly it made things, almost telephone like, but it did bring it forward.

Pretty complete one Per, very nice. And yes, "let's make the world a little better"... I'm up for that

I should mention I was messing around with Mats_Nermark 's new pack having fun. Found inspiration in the clean Vibr. Verb V30 cleans.

I heard you playing that tune at N.O. House of Blues with BB.

No mate, not the warble.

That's been the "problem" right there.
The natural instinct is to scoop the mids 'cause vox, especially one's own, sound honky in-isolation. Not so in a mix. The mids are where the note content lives. In most of your mixes the sibilance stands out more than the notes themselves, at least on my small mono system. I have to listen very-hard most of the time to discern said notes.
Not this time. Not by a long shot and that, IMHO, is what you want and what peeps want to hear.
YMMV; I can only voice my opinion brudda. Hopefully there're enough mids in it for you to be able to hear the pitched inflections.

Nah that was the I. House of Pancakes, solo gig but sweet deal.

I understand but the mids were scooped though in this one too. I suspect it’s more about the arrangement. The sound here is pretty far from my natural voice, right for certain sorts of tracks even if highly processed. I’m not sure I could repeat the trick but I’ll keep plodding away at it.

Thank you for taking the advice under consideration Brother Per.
If I had to distil it I'd say more mids = clearer intelligibility of pitch, but that's probably redundant 'cause I think that's what I've been saying.

I can't tell you how rewarding it is to me to hear other musicians do create music with my profiles. Very happy to provade any measure of inspiration.
Cheers,
