I bought the Kemper amp, remote and expression pedal mainly to try out since I've seen some cool stuff on youtube but there wasn't one in my area. I've been skeptical after owning one for 3 weeks. It's a lot of money and I still wasn't sure how I felt about digital amps. But I was able to play this thing for the first time at a rehearsal and it sounds really good. All my band members reassured it was on point. I profiled a couple of my favorite amps and they sound great. My biggest obstacle is working with presets. I like to be able to just hit a pedal when I need it but I'm able to set up some basic rigs to accommodate these needs. Then I'll set up some performances for the songs that need a little extra attention.
My biggest complaint is the type and browse buttons. Those plastic potentiometers have to go. Replace them with metal pots. Why so cheap? I feel like they are gonna break off right out of the box! Also they designed an amp where the buttons protrude past the amp enclosure which is another fatal design. Buttons may be lost in battle.
