Already got it!

Picked up the AC30 and the Marshall pack yesterday. Now I have to wait till Friday night to try them out.. GRRRRRRRRR

Took advantage of Michael's 33% off sale and ended up picking up several packs! I was lucky to find a great deal on a used Kemper rack last week. Really enjoy the Kemper and of course Michael's profiles.

A good start. Welcome to the forum!

I bought the D-WOOD pack. It's becoming a favorite. It nails the 80s Dokken sound.
Some of the profiles in the D-WOOD pack have so much gain I can use my Strat with vintage output bridge pickup and sound like I'm playing a Les Paul.
This is great since I can use that Strat all night long without having to change guitars if I don't want to.Highly recommended.

I picked up a couple on the sale as well

I think the driftwood is a great pack but could have done with more variance in the gain levels, seems to be either clean or super high gain. Some settings like Doug rappaports purple nightmare video would have been awesome.

I take the high gain profiles and drop the Gain knob down to the desired level, and save as a new rig.
That works and sounds more natural to me than taking a rig and turning up the Gain knob. -

A little quick recording I did to demo some of my as-yet-unreleased Peavey 5150 profiles. I was just kind of going through and tweaking the profiles and got a little hung up on one where the gate was on and I was playing around with dynamics at the threshold and then added the delay and phase vibe cuz it sounded kinda cool. I thought I should record it quickly before I forgot it and I ended up getting carried away with it for a couple of hours. Anyway, the style isn't exactly my bag but I was having fun and there was no one home to tell me to stop.
-
Be hard pressed to tell that from the real deal Mike,
You gonna make it out to winter Namm this year?
-
Any idea when you will release the 5150 Mike? Like Rob Chapman I have had great success with that 5150.

I have some new profiles in the works that I'm busy finishing up tweaks and recording clips. I was fortunate enough to land in the March issue of Guitar Player magazine... very stoked and thanks to Guitar Player and Michael Ross, who did the interview last year, and Christoph Kemper for making such an awesome piece of gear.
