I often play along to something in headphones. For example, I'll have ear buds for a commercial recording, but overlay large headphones for the Kemper.
With Panorama I could put my guitar playing in one channel to better hear both guitars. That's how I'm gonna use it.
Can anyone enlighten me on the improved profiling process and bass authenticity? Will I have to re-profile everything etc....I always wondered how this worked and in how far one is affected in changed or improved profiling algorithms or procedures. Will it make our rigs obsolete and we have to do it all over again?
I was thinking about this case also many times and I came to idea, that if KPA was able to store response acquired during profiling to eg.USB stick, they could reanalyze and "redo" the profiling offline with modified algorithm, so you don't have to.

That would be a cool feature to have! Storing the basic raw profiling data that then can be re-analyzed on a new or improved algorithm! Hopefully a feature to come!

Sold me a dream....
I would also like to know the purpose of "panorama" and what it does. If any of the
KPA team can enlighten us please
The Panorama was a request of pro users. It enables you e.g. to pan two guitarists or one guitarist with two profilers to the sides, while with the next rig everything comes from the middle position again.

WOW!! That sounds like a cool feature !! I'll give this a blast :)

I have good news and bad news.
The good news is there is now an option to reamp using the return. It's hidden away in the input section.
The bad news is that SPDIF reamp is broken. I was trying to do a reamp to determine whether there were any changes in sound in 2.7 vis-a-vis 2.6. I could record for 2.6. But in 2.7, my guitar input can be heard even if I set my input to SPDIF. It mutes if it's on alternative input though
I also noticed an issue: if you put a mono loop (to use a second guitar in the return input for example) you can hear after about 3-4 seconds of playing some crakle like when you shake a defective cable

This is fantastic!
I love it a lot and I used to have a workaround for this feature till now using the Cromatic Pitch like I described here
http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…t-Left-side-on-Rig-based/?
So, can I replace completely this with the new feature now and free the slot?
If you hold down the left/right or up/down buttons on the control cross on the Kemper, it will now keep jumping as long as you keep the button pressed. Earlier, you had to press continuously for each jump.
I should mention that I haven't tried this feature out, as I'm still at work and need to get home to do the firmware upgrade.
And I like this sooooo much too!!!!
As a user being very annoyed with the crackling issues I was having both with clean sounds and changing patches,I can now confirm all this is gone!!
Excellent work CK and Team!!

Yes. The new feature lets you place the sound in the stereo field with out using a slot.
I just did the update and some testing. The crackling issues seem to be gone. I mainly had these with my bass & bass profiles. Nothing negative so far.
Has anyone noticed a change in sound or feel yet?

i know they have been refining the bottom end algorithm like in 2.6 which they started but I don't feel it plays/feels any any difference, but some people are more sensitive to something's than others
I do not feel or hear a difference in tone or response.
Isn't the change related to the Profiling process itself rather than to existing profiles?

Yep you are correct

I was waiting for that question.....
