Am I correct in thinking that this has been the longest time between firmware updates yet? I'm guessing that the new update will be labelled V6 and will arrive before the end of the year. The preset management will be worth the wait, considering the amount of development time that's gone into it so far.

Of course if the Kemper team wanted to, you know, give out some early beta access to folks that might post a few teasers here and there, generate some more buzz, maybe to someone with a three letter name beginning with P and who's surname doesn't start with M, S, T, Bu or D, yes I am obviously talking about Neil Giraldo here folks...

I also guess, that "something" will be presented at NAMM - which dies not mean, that there might be a realease in advance.

The latest beta is from June - so there should have been enough time for testing. As it takes so much time, expectations are raised that there is more than just some reverbs coming.

.. but you never know when. Might still take another 6 month, or might be here tomorrow. Noone knows, maybe not even the kemper team...

Surely anything would come as a beta knowing that only the spring has been tested. I can't see the official v6 for quite some time really.

Actually, I heard there will be no more software updates.

They are coming out with completely NEW hardware. We, will have to replace all our units.

What is kind of annoying (for me): They don't release the pending update / fix of the "cab section bug" (amp does influence the sound of the cab, even when amp is switched off...).

CK said end of august, that the fix will be available in the next firmware release... o.k. I think I have shown patience Please don't forget about the implementation of this (with all the reverbs and stuff).

I really hope Ash is already pregnant and the new firmware will come in 2018!

I doubt they will release a new firmware during holidays time because... they will also be on holidays !
